Brianna Gatch, Director

Brianna Sklute Gatch holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master’s Degree in Wind Band Pedagogy from the University of Louisville.

Brianna is in her sixth year of teaching at Clover Hill High School. During her time, she has enjoyed establishing new ensembles and taking students to new destinations. Under her direction, students from the Clover Hill Band Program have performed in Florida, New York, The Bahamas, and all throughout the state of Virginia.

Her wind ensembles and marching bands have exclusively received Superior ratings during her time as Director of Bands at Clover Hill High School at VBODA District 3 Concert and Marching Assessments. Brianna is an active clinician, guest conductor, and adjudicator across the state of Virginia for both Marching Band and Concert Band.

Brianna is the recipient of the Outstanding Music Education Young Alumni Award from the Virginia Commonwealth University, School of the Arts; Chesterfield County Public Schools Game Changer Award in 2019-2020 and 2020-2021; Teacher of the Year at Clover Hill High School; Recipient of the R.E.B. Award for Teaching Excellence; and recently received National Board Certification in Music: Early Adolescence through Young Adult. She is currently serving as the Performing Arts Department Chair at Clover Hill High School and District 3 Auditions Chair.
