Hello, my name is Nick Bullard, and I am very excited to be the new Drum Line Instructor for the Clover Hill Marching Cavaliers this year! I have been playing drums now for about 18 years. I played percussion all through middle school band and then continued through high school at Thomas Dale. I joined marching band freshman year and made snare and I couldn't get enough of it! I played snare all 4 years and was a rank captain my junior year and then drumline captain my senior year. I also did jazz band my junior and senior year and then also did all-county jazz band and made all-district band both of those years. After I graduated, the band was under new directors so I came back and helped out with the drum line and band and tried to make the transition as smooth as possible. The next year I was the percussion instructor for Thomas Dale and it was great! I am now currently in my third year at Virginia Commonwealth University and getting my Bachelors of Arts in Music Performance with a focus in Percussion. I am also in the legendary and nationally known pep band "The Peppas," which has been one of the best parts of VCU and is one of the most fun things in my life! I also currently play in the worship band for two churches in mechanichsville and henrico. I am excited to see what opportunities come next!
