How to support the band
The Clover Hill High School Marching Cavaliers are supported financially in two ways. The school provides a budget that is approved by the School Board, but that doesn’t cover all the expenses incurred each year. The balance of the financial needs is met by various fund raising activities by the band and the Keynotes Band Boosters. The following is an excerpt from the Keynotes Bylaws;
“The Keynotes is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote enthusiastic interest in the Clover Hill High School Band programs. The organization shall provide moral support to the band programs and financial support to cover items and expenses that the school and Chesterfield County do not provide. The organization shall cooperate with those in charge of the band programs at Clover Hill High School, the school administration and the Chesterfield County School Board. Membership in this organization shall be limited to parents or guardians of students enrolled in the band programs at Clover Hill High School, and parents or guardians of any student involved with the “Marching Cavaliers” – the Clover Hill High School Marching Band.”
